Living The Fast Food Life

First off, no I don' mean fat people. Im talkin' 'bout workin' there. The life of a fast food worker is one of the most over looked and negitively looked at lives. Sure, some are the sterotypical college or high school dropout, but you cant always assume that these drop outs arent intellegent. We all have our situations maybe made a bad decicion, who cares tho all that matters is that everyone should be treated with respect especially the fast food worker.

Im a high school student, Snider if you care, and a teenager. I spent the bulk of my 16th year of life looking for a job. I got promises and let downs, no calls no interviews nothing. Eventually a friend encouraged me to go to the BK where he works. I put in an aplication and within 2 hours i was hired. It was a great feeling, I had a job. For about a month I was happy, but then when I got the pace of things I learned drive-thru and front counter... and I have been pissed off ever since. At these two stations people treat the worker as if they were mentally incapable, or retarded ... YES RETARDED I SAID IT! Anyway...

Front counter first, it seems like everyone is just too busy to act like you are a person and they like to bark at you commands and not be polite to you while you kiss their ass as if it mattered, and if you dont kiss their ass you get yelled at by a manager. Everytime when im at front counter some kid or adult even will spill their drink and yell at me, when i have a line at counter, to clean it up. See, as the front counter person I am target numeral uno, and it is also my responsability to clean the table and the dining room when I have the time. Some people leave thier food, drinks, trays on the table for me to clean up and by the way THATS NOT WHAT IM PAID TO DO, but if you do want to do that there is a way to not make the person made to clean it up insane... just leave me a tip or pick it up your own damn self.

Drive-thru is probably the most stressful job at a fast food restaruant. You get people that do not know what they want and change the order like 5 times during the course of their 3 min ordering procedure, which by the way is too long, the maximum amount of time we want you in the drive thru is 5 mins, but if we are short staffed or you are retarded it will take longer. A big problem with the drive-thru is that no one on the face of this earth knows how to order at the drive-thru. So what do you do? You yell, you yell and you yell, 8 out of 10 people at drive-thru yell and the other people whisper, which is more annoying than yelling because I will have to ask the person to repeat the order which makes them do what? YELL! Seems that there is no happy medium in this fast food world.

So, respect the fast food worker, even if they happen to be metally handicapped, you are no better than them and chances are that they work harder in a 1 hour rush than you do in a day. The stress we go through is amazing and I bet that even those with the best stress management can't handle drive-thru or front counter without starting a stress habit like smoking drinking or in my case eating, but dont assume im fat though, I'm not. Im a good 175 lbs. and standing a whole 5 foot 7 inches tall and even with my Bk diet keep a 15% body fat. Please help us workers to keep sane and happy lives.

Arnold Fo' Prez

The big gov. Arnold has talked about runnin for president and there has even been talk of a constitutional ammendment to let him do so. This seems familiar.....

Wait!! Has anyone ever seen Demolition Man? In this 1995 movie, after a stelone fight first and ask questions later fight, his partner, Sandra Bullic i think, said she hasent seen that kind of fighting in real life only in the Arnold S. Library. Stelone's character askes why Arnold has a library and she says with an ammmendment to the constitution he was allowed to run and eventually become president of the US.

OH NO!! A movie from the mid 90's predicted the future!! Look out America here comes Gov. , or should I say President, Arnold to bust a cap in your ass!

Sleep Deprevation at Snider High

Ever notice that in a high school class there is always at least one kid fast asleep in the middle of class? Even this humble blogger has had to deal with many a teacher because of sleeping in class. This probably has to do with the fact that school starts at eight in the morning and we are forced by our teachers to come in ealier and earlier. Also we are given more and more homework causeing us to stay up later and later and then we have to get up in the morning.

Well I wish I could actually do something but until I can I will just voice my opinion and prey for less homework and two hour delays.

Im a football fan and everyonce in awhile I like to blog about my team... The Indianapolis Colts. They are losing at least two great players next year Ederin James and Mike Vanderjaght, ignore my spelling, but to everyones dissmay I the know that the Colts are gonna be good they are gonna fly through their games and finnally have a couple playoff wins, but I aint gonna say that they are gonna win the super bowl, b ut if they make it they will.

Super Bowl

Well, I called it and i knew I would, the Pittsburgh Steelers have took home the trophy. Does anyone else seem to notice that the super bowl every year has gotten to be a more one sided game. The AFC always wins. Im a Colts fan so my team lost early and I knew that the winner of the Colts VS Steelers game would be the winner of the super bowl. I cant stand that I knew that, it seems that teams that should actually be in the games never are, and that the NFC just cant compete.

The other thing is that the super bowl halftime show has gotten exponentally worse every year. The reason I say exponetally is because I learned that word in a math class and that is the first time I have ever been able to use it.

Personally I think the race between Coke and Pepsi is over, no winner emerged, so lets settle this here and now. New Site, First Blog

This isnt really a first blog, but more like an introductary blog. Those of you who already know me know that I say what's on my mind. I will keep in mind tho that some of these ideas might be offensive to people and I want them to know that I DONT CARE... although I will try and keep the profanity on the down low, an idea pressed by a fellow blogger, hes right to press it though because the profanity can make me seem like a crazy angry teenager. Who wants to read about that when most people have already lived that or are living it now.

That's all I'm saying for now but keep an eye for this blog, trust me it's cool.
